With the help of Vittoria, a bookshop keeper, Daniel finds himself in a web of shadows, secrets, and discoveries carefully kept within the stones and canals of the ancient city … and in the mystery of the man whose story the book does not finish: Sebastien Trovato.

Great Audio book

This is a great story, and the narrator did a really good job. Love it.

A Lyrical Masterpiece!!

This book is suitable for teens and older with no inappropriate intimate scenes and no bad language.

Great book

Started off slow. I tried reading it but had some issues. One being my book club was three days away and I needed it done! This way I could still do stuff while reading/listening. Bonus! But the narrator was amazing, loved the different voices of the characters he used. And it really brought Venice to life for me. I can’t decide which story line I liked more, Sebastian’s or Daniels. The last few chapters of this made the whole book for me. Would highly recommend.
