Good story. Good narration.

I am looking forward to working my way through this series. The main appeal of this story, for me, was the characters and the narration. Brantley and Reese have an interesting dynamic, and the narration seemed well suited to the characters.

Great story and narration

Brantley Walker is at a crossroads with his life after a career ending injury has forced him to retire from being a Navy Seal and return to Coyote Ridge. Brantley is attracted to Reese Tavoularis but he knows that the man is straight, or is he?

Narrated by Tor Thom and Charley Angel that did a fabulous job with their performance I am so loving the direction Ms. Edwards is going with this book. From chapter one, I was hooked and couldn’t put it down, I simply had to know what was going to happen and this was expressed well by Tor and Charley.

This book was smoking hot, add in the suspense which is extremely well written and I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of the book. You cannot help but become invested as Ms. Edwards wove so many twists and turns into the story.

There is also a great deal of emotion within Brantley’s story as he and Reese embark on a journey of self discovery (mainly for Reese), some steamy MM scenes and of course the appearance of numerous Walkers and this was certainly captured by the narrators.

WOW. What a story. Not only can Nicole Edwards write a fantastic romance, but this story is one that had me on the edge of my seat. Brantley Walker is back home. After years of serving his country, he is adjusting to civilian life with career ending injuries. What will he do next? Checking out Reese to start! Hot, strong and a man he can get used to seeing, Brantley has his own mission. Until his cousin Travis's daughter is kidnapped. Now the two will team up together to find her, and realize there is more to them than just chemistry. Edwards knows how to bring the Walker family together. I love getting to visit our old friends from Curtis on down. But the real talent is how she can meld personalities and hearts, making us fall in love with them and enjoy the journey. From the suspense of finding Travis's daughter, to the slow burn of Reese and Brantley's love, I was invested one hundred percent. Another wonderful listen and I can't wait for the next book.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel bring the Walker's to life. I love this team and every story they read to me is engaging and exciting. Full of the emotional tugs and strong personalities, these two create a world that I fell into and enjoyed from beginning to end.
