So much truth

I have been recommending this book to every Christian I know. This book is so eye opening, has so many teachable and convicting words it should be read by everyone. If you've never thought of adoption or if you are thinking about it, please read this.

really encouraged

I really enjoyed the content of this book. it has really encouraged me as my husband and I are going through the process of adoption now. I really enjoyed the rich Biblical views with all the comparisons and also the practical suggestions as well.

What an incredible book!

As a prospective adopting parent this book has been incredibly thought provoking! As a lover of Jesus it has stirred my heart towards the plight of orphans all over the word in unimaginable ways. I couldn't recommend this book highly enough!

Fantastic book, filled with wisdom and inspirations

I read this book as a wife and mother who is starting the adoption through foster care journey. My husband and I already feel this calling, but through the scripture and insights shared in this book; I know now, that God’s plan truly calls us all to adoption in one way or another. The wisdom and experiences shared will allow my family to better serve our beautiful child to come. God bless you on your journey!

Thought Provoking and Christ Centered

Grateful God directed me to this book as I study and prepare my heart and home for an adopted family. Grateful as well that this book pointed out the adoptive nature of the Church, not just what we are taught in our culture. I personally will be listening to this book a few times over again as it is so densely packed with scripture and messages that even rival a college course in the subject. Will be buying a physical copy for my family who prefer reading than listening. I'd encourage someone thinking about adoption and those who are even opposed to listen and really prayer what the Lord's opinion is on the matter. I know I have and will do so for the future Lord has before me and my family.

Encouraging and Convicting!

This book is it just for those thinking about adopting. It is a book for EVERYONE! It is beautiful. Filled with Gospel truth and practical wisdom!

Loved it!

If you are thinking about adoption, in the process of adoption, know someone who wants to adopt, know someone who struggles with infertility, or are praying for someone who is adopting you need to listen or read this book. My husband and I also struggled with infertility and still are, And as a believer in Jesus Christ Russell Moore pinpoints every feeling that we have had so far.

I appreciated this book very much. some very thoughtful and thought provoking material. Author seems a bit prideful in his tone and choice of wording sometimes, but that's a small thing to overlook. This is DEFINITELY a message that our churches need to hear.
