But the reason all of those times where life was marvelous shone so brightly is precisely because there was shadow too. Some darker than others, I admit. It's been a year since our time in Chi'cagoa Rea, and we were beginning to explore other things in life, I was curious about human romance, bonding, affection in its more committed, nuanced forms. And I was curious about whether I was capable of these things as well.
I would say that this was going to be an interesting time, for Fauve, and for myself, but whether it was or not, I leave that to you to decide.
