OUCH.

WELL. THAT HURT.

I did not see that coming and I was NOT prepared. Lord have mercy. I should have known better too because I was like "wow this is such a sweet book". Then bam. Direct hit to the heart. Tears rolling down my face in public.

I dont want to say too much because I think you should go in blind like I did so here are some tropes instead.

Loved it! A Must Listen!

Another amazing book by Marley Valentine. Perfect unrequited love/friends to lovers story. I absolutely loved Gael & Jordan’s story. There were so many highs & so many lows. I throughly enjoyed the journey into their world. I’m sad the book is over. I’m already missing them both! Amazing Narration by Teddy Hamilton, Gomez Pugh & Emma Eilder.

I loved this story. such an emotional roller coaster. my heart broke for everyone involved, even Elena which definitely didnt deserve what she got but sometimes life happens and you no control of who you love.
the accident scene narrated by Teddy was perfection. i felt every bit of emotion and my heart ached with him.

I like that there is a family part of these books, it’s about REAL life.

Amazing and beautiful

I have enjoyed this book in both audio and text form. I have come back to it several times. I love the story and the feelings that just poured out of both men.

neither wanted to hurt anyone, but it happened. and the way the author describes everything is just so beautiful. they love each other so heavily and my God does that come out.

highly recommend either version to people...but the audio book really is amazing. this story prompted me to read everything I could from this author. I know it will do the same for others.

just when you think you know where the main characters are heading, marley makes a turn. it was am absolute gem to listen to. so happy to hear the names of familiar friends.

Unique Story

This had ups and downs and a curveball I didn't see coming, but it was a beautiful story.

Friends to lover. Nice story. Really opens your eyes to home ez it is to stop your own happiness due to fear. Glad it worked out for the MLs

Ache is right

This book just killed me. My heart hurts and it's also full. I had so many emotions reading this.
Gael and Jordan are life long friends. Jordan is gay and in love with Gael. Meanwhile Gael is engaged to Elena. One trip to Vegas changes so much. For everyone.
This is not an easy read, but any means. Marley Valentine took my heart and just squeezed tight. She shocked me, made me cry, broke me down and put me back together, all in one story.
I can't tell you enough how much I loved this book. I want to say so much, but don't want to spoil anything.  The attention to details, the honesty in the characters feelings, the truth and rawness of their reactions were all written perfectly.
Teddy Hamilton and Gomez Pugh were both so great in this. I loved that Gomez had the right accent for all the Spanish words. it makes such a difference when the narrator fits the part. And Emma Wilder's part was small, but she made an impact.
This was a true five star read.

Emotional Rollercoaster

I’ve been anticipating this book since reading the original novella it’s based on, “Regrets and Resolutions.” I thought that version was emotionally charged, so I was not prepared for Ache. The love, the pain, the friendship was so real it was tangible. I experienced frustration and heartache along with he heart-pounding romance. This was an emotional rollercoaster that I would be happy to ride again and again.
