From author Victoria Clapton comes The Priestess and the Warrior trilogy which regales the story of Pinky and her journey through the ages as she rights kingdom wrongs and seeks to finally join with her love, Tyr, a Viking warrior, who, while fighting his own wars, remains in contact with Pinky through centuries. Their unique and lively friendships and protectors also cross the chasms of time with Pinky and Tyr, and as stories unfold around Renaissance campfires, we learn how far Pinky will go to protect all the people she loves.
Book two in this trilogy, Accept, follows book one, Awaken, and it opens with the last days of Pinky’s first semester in college. She is no closer to finding Tyr, her still missing love. However, her memories have grown stronger as has her understanding and appreciation of her friendships, and together, the entire gang all have traveled to a Celtic Christmas village to plunge deeper into the past and unravel more of the mystery that surrounds their existence. Filled with confidence and the joy of the season, the group believes that Pinky will soon uncover all that was lost, and Tyr will at long last return to them.
Alas, the Wheel of Fate has spun once more, as Pinky’s current memory of a life once lived in Ireland refutes all that she thought she knew and leaves her with more questions. Yet, she and her friends endeavor on, ever in search of their past to find their future.

overflow of emotions
This was even more emotional than book 1. To be promised to other people was heartbreaking. They always seem to have one more obstacle to overcome to be together. Argh!!! When things were going well and they were tog3,I waited for the other shoe to drop,per usual. One soul separated then comes together again!! With this ending I demand a hea for them and me!!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

This follow up to Awaken was very good! Iame is back at the Renaisance faire and trying to find her soul mate again.Her memories may be more than she can handle this time. Matthew R. Lents was a fine narrator. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
