I Will Return To This.

Ever since I found Audible I have been hoping Andrew Robinson would record his book and Audible would make it available. "Deep Space Nine" has always been by far my favorite Star Trek series and Garack one of my very favorite characters. My only warning to Audible customers who are interested in this book is that you should watch all of "Deep Space Nine" before listening to this book. The wait will be worth it.

we finally get the story of garak we've always wanted, eat your heart out Dr Bashir!

the writing and incredible performance by Andrew Robinson truly brought the character to life so fully it made me decide to rewatch deep space nine for the umpteenth time!

Well done!

I found this audio book entirely refreshing and well paced. Not that I could resist an expansion on the character Elim Garak from Deep Space 9, my favorite character of that show. The best part for me was that Andrew J. Robinson, the actor who played Garak, was this book’s author and narrator! I loved his insightful description of Garak in his youth, then as a young Obsidian Order operative, followed by his experiences on Deep Space 9 and later on Cardassia after the brief Dominion era. Mr. Johnson elegantly elaborated on many intriguing aspects of Garak’s life and also brought forth new elements. I always felt that Garak’s character should have had more than a supporting role in Deep Space 9. I can’t turn back time to make it so. But this book satisfies my need for more when it comes to Garak. I’m grateful that Mr. Johnson created this book and shared it with all of us.

Like stepping back in time, on to the promenade, and into the replimat.

This is Garrick telling you not only about post-war life on Cardassia and his own life story, but also added scenes from DS9 during the series time period. It’s fantastic!

Excellent Story that expands a character

Good story well read by the actor. I recommend it for any Star Trek fan of deep space nine. The story fills in the background of the character Garak and adds a bit to what happened on Cardassia after the show.
