LOVED!!

After a traumatic event from Ellie's past leaves her with intimacy issues, she turns to the one person she trusts the most, Lincoln. In an attempt to bring some pleasure back into her life, Ellie plans to seduce Lincoln during a masquerade party at his club without him know who she is. Several months later, Ellie finds out she's pregnant.

Lincoln's brother Micah visits Ellie in California and discovers she's pregnant, he brings her back home where she tells him and her sister everything that happened to her when she was 15 and that Lincoln is the baby's father. Furious with Lincoln thinking he took advantage of Ellie, Micah confronts Lincoln and punches him in the face. After Ellie explains what she did and it's not Lincoln's fault, he realizes the woman he can't get out of his head and has been searching for is Ellie and she is carrying his baby.

Lincoln finally realizes the 14 year age difference doesn't matter any more and will do everything possible to show Ellie he's in love with her and their baby. When someone from her past reappears and is out for revenge will it keep her and Lincoln from finding their much deserved HEA.

Age gap

I couldn't wait for Ellie and Lincoln’s story when I read the first in the series. The attraction Ellie felt towards Lincoln from the beginning was so sweet. She trusted him since she first met him. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between them. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I did this on audio and really enjoyed it. The narration was so well done.

Super addictive

This audio was even better than the book. I was hooked with the book but I was obsessed with this audio. This couples story was addictive as the narrators brought their story to life. Loved it.

Romantic Suspense

A Risk Worth Taking by Nikki Ash is an age gap romantic suspense romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lexi Evans and Gregory Salinas. This is the second book in the Falling in Love series.

I absolutely love Nikki's books. I can't help but binge them in one sitting. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Lincoln and Ellie. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Gregory and Lexi did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for an age gap romance, secret pregnancy romance, forbidden romance, or romantic suspense.

Get ready for one AMAZING ride!! Lincoln and Ellie’s story will leave you breathless. Jam packed with some major HAF, addicting chemistry you won’t be able to turn the pages fast enough. ARWT is a love story I will read again and again. The narrators were the perfect t fit for these characters!

Sweet and sexy

I was excited to get this story after listening to the first. It was good but I kept thinking of a soap opera 🤔. I would recommend if you’ve listened to the first and want to know the continuation.

Nikki Ash NEVER fails me 👏 I was sucked into this book from the very beginning of the audio. Hell, even the end of the last book! I was salivating for Lincoln and Ellie’s story, and it did not disappoint! Ellie went through a lot of trauma and she has taken it upon herself to overcome her fears. This leads her to Lincoln because he’s always been safe for her. Well, you know where this story goes but not what happens. She’s determined to see a brighter future for herself and those she loves.
I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t what I got and I love that! I will say that this book has darker notes than the other Nikki Ash books I’ve read, so please protect your mental state and read trigger warnings if you have them.

Gregory Salina’s and Lexi Evans did an amazing job narrating this book. They gave life to these characters. Definitely recommend the audio version of this book!

Loved this so much!

I loved this book so much. Ellie and Lincoln’s story was not what I was expecting but it was so much more. I didn’t always agree with how Ellie handled things but she was doing the best she could given her circumstances. I loved the reveal and how Lincoln was shocked but eventually realized Ellie was his. I loved the suspense and the cameos from Sienna and Micah. The narrators were excellent and really brought the story to life too!

This is the second book in the Falling in Love series. The first book was about Micah and Sienna. This book is about Sienna’s sister Ellie and Micah’s brother Lincoln. Some may think fourteen years may be too different in a relationship. Ellie has had a hard time being intimate with anyone since she was abducted at fourteen years old, at the end of book one. She never told anyone that she was sexually assaulted. She has been dealing with the memories and flashbacks all on her own. Now she is twenty-two years old and still never willingly been with a man. Lincoln is the only man she has ever felt safe with and been attracted to for years. Lincoln’s club is having a Valentine’s Day masquerade event. She believes this is her one true chance to be with a man that she knows will treat her right. Then their lives change when she finds out she is pregnant. This is an age gap, accidental pregnancy romance with a hint of mafia sprinkled in. Lexi Evans and Gregory Salinas did a fantastic job narrating this book.
