Outstanding series

I absolutely loved listening to this book. Abby does an amazing job creating characters that you can relate to, smile and simpathize with. The narration is so good that you feel like you are a part of the story. There is love, loss, romance and magic. it takes you on a journey as the characters discover who they are and what they are capable of. Of course there is an ending that leaves you wanting more. An outstanding second book to the series.

World building, Twists and Turns, OH my!

I am enjoying the world that is set before us in Book 2 of the Scented Court series.

New faces, conflict, heart break, and suspicion kept me going. I questioned the identity of one handsome, silver-haired fellow. With a gasp, my suspicion shifted. Now, I am left clawing at the rocks of the cliff - grasping speculation until Book 3.

A book worth reading and/or listening to. I listened to it and enjoyed the narration that brought a new layer to this book and series overall.

magickal, intriguing, and a great read

this was book 2 in the Scented Court series! there was a lot of world building. & politics which is expected in epic fantasy! this was an awesome read, as i couldn’t wait to get started reading again after taking a break from my book life, into my real world life! once i had time to pick it back up i didn’t put it down till it was finished! this was ARC book given to me for an honest review! the characters were relatable, magickal and once you are vested in the story & plot surrounding them, they become almost real! making you a part of their world! I was so excited to get into this book that i literally flew through it in one day between having to leave it for a while to do my real life, what a drag! oh well a sign of a great book you can’t stop reading! who needs sleep anyway? not me!!! i will take an exciting, outstanding book that is much more exhilarating than a great dream! plus i can return to this story anytime at my leisure! i tend to wear my earpods so i can listen and do some things i am required to do and still visit this world!

this book has everything! it has a great love story underline by an outstanding plot! it has different types of fairies, & elves! i tend to hate politics even in. fantasy, however these types of books need the world building and politics to make it work! as long as the book can stand on its own two feet. which this one definitely did, with this story being on book 3 i cannot wait to dive into it. it was unpredictable and i could not get enough of these characters and the fae world! they all have fantastic stories of their own that come together for a beautiful coherent wonderful, enjoyable read/ listen! i recommend this book highly! i want to give the narrator props SHE IS AWESOME!!! i i loved her accents and her her differentiation of male & female characters and their accents! her narration enhanced the whole story for me! the book was exciting, excellent in all ways, a great read, and i would recommend this book to anyone who likes fairies, elves & a far world mixed with other magickal creatures!

If you thought book #1 was good, book #2 will knock your socks off. So good and well written that I couldn't stop myself from finishing the book in one sitting.

Abby has a great way of keeping emotions alive while leading us through danger, adventures, trials and relationships. Love is discovered, familiars play a bigger part and Beazle just gets cuter. Losses are suffered thru and new possibilities open up for discovery of the past. SPOT ON NARRATION

Wowowow! So many unexpected happenings in book 2. I could not put this one down and can’t wait for the next! A.L. Knorr has quickly become one of my favorite authors — this is a series you don’t want to miss! I especially love all of the familiars and the deep bonds that we see forming. More, please!

Lovely

Lovely addition to book 1, which I thought started out pretty slow. It ended up being such a lovely story.. A sweet, grown up fairy tale. I am excited by for book 3.

The development of the story

I just love Abby’s ability to drag you into the stories and make the characters so alive, you feel like a part of it all. I cannot wait to see what is in store in book 3 & 4. I can reread (well listen actually) to her book over and over again and never get tired of the universes she creates!

A formidable heroine to watch

Worth the wait! Wow! I originally read book one over a year ago and when this one came out I was super excited. The narrator is fantastic and the story had me sucked in from the start. Jess picks up right after the events of the first and now has chosen to become a spy vs the alternative for rescuing Lady C. It's awesome seeing her become more confident in her abilities and allowing her to find love is always nice. The evil prince is on my nerves and he will get what is coming to him no doubt. Mystery, further world and character building, love interests, familiars, a brewing war. What more can a reader want in a story? I can’t wait to read what comes next for our heroine and her friends.
