Very well done

I was very impressed with the narration of this book. I prefer audio books because I like the ability to speed up the reading and get through double the amount of books than what I could when physically reading. The Narrator for this book still sounded awesome at 1.6 speed. The enunciations were clear throughout. When the character was supposed to sound “muffled” or “cough laughing” or “choked up” when speaking, the narrator delivered each line authentic to the author’s writing for the character. Loved the voice of this narrator.

Emotional and Wonderful!

DL Lane is one of my favorite authors. She is not afraid to write about difficult subjects, does not sugar coat them and gives us a story that is worth while. This Cedar Point novel is no exception. Jacob, Caleb and Kasey all grew up together. Caleb as a young boy knew his role was to keep them all safe, but when affairs of the heart came into play, he stepped back and let Jacob and Kasey find their love. But when tragedy hit, Caleb could no longer hide his feelings. But even then, things changed and the two separated, leaving years of quiet. Now Caleb is back home and so is Kasey and he is determined to win her heart. What he doesn’t now is the toll life has taken on Kasey and what he is now up against. This love story is nothing short of amazing. It gives a realistic view of life, with it’s tragedy and how love can help heal. I loved it from start to finish and can’t wait to see where our next journey with Lane will take us.

Levi Todd is a new to me narrator, and he is wonderful! He came into this story with a variety of voices and found each character’s personality. His use of voice nuances and emotion gave us the feelings and let us hurt and love throughout the performance. It was a fantastic listen!

Love this series

The author out does herself with each book. This one didn't disappoint. Great characters, great writing, fantastic storyline. New to me narrator, but he did a fabulous job. I recommend this as a must hear series!
