SugarBae and Sweetness

This book was cute. It was a slow burn/ will they won’t they romance. August and Sloane built a relationship as teenagers but it was the wrong time for them. Years later and a series of inconvenient events later, we get to watch how they made their way back to one another.

Super cute storyline! I was frustrated that they didn’t see the chemistry they had, each one believing that the order just couldn’t be interested in them. But I love when love wins in the end. Jamie Wesley did her thing with this one. #RomanceReader

I appreciate how much August has a complex story of his own. Sloane is clearly a gem but this is compelling because of the MMC

Providing a more honest review because I was misled by other reviews

There were some good parts of this book such as the delivery, the voices did not annoy me, there are some connections to the first book, I like Sloan’s career decisions at the other locations, I like the idea of feeding a community by building a community center. For what the story was, it wasn’t bad. However, this book is nothing like book #1 which was a 4/5 for me. The book is titled Legend in the Baking, who is the legend? The highlights of this book do not warrant 40 chapters. The first 30 chapters could’ve been wrapped up a lot sooner. Nothing in the description says how much of a long (unwarranted) erotica this book is (eventually). I just wish I was given more of the plot of this book in the preview, description, and reviews, that would’ve aided in my decision to purchase the book. An honest 3/5 for me. Not something I would personally recommend to a friend.
