Freaking Awesome

Can't believe this us the end! Awesome how Rylee and Alex came into the story. Really do miss them. They she add the grandma into it to. Nix and the gang are just freaking awesome. Khristine Hvam did awesome narrating.

So Worth the Listen!

Shannon Mayer is known for her superb world buiiding. She does not disappoint once again with the ongoing action and mayhem confronting Nix and her team. In the final book in the series, how will it end!? The whole series is so worth the listen.

Khristine Hvam does a superb job bringing Nix to life. What a great narrator!

Amazing ending

I was so freaking excited to be back in Nix’s world. She is one of my favorite FMCs from Shannon’s books. She is strong, resilient and incredibly feisty. The way she has gone above and beyond for her family since the very beginning made me love her all the more.

This book starts right up where book 4 ended. Much like the rest of the series this book was an absolutely wild right full of epic battles, deception, perseverance and a healthy dose of love. Shannon does not disappoint in continuing Nix’s story. Bringing everything full circle.

Along the way we also get to see some crossover characters from some of Shannon’s other series (Rylee, Alex, Celia, etc). The Easter eggs she plants in each series make for an awesome reason to read her other books.

True to form Shannon takes you on a ride that you’ll both love and hate at the same time. I was on the edge of my seat, stressed beyond belief for most of this book. Not for the first time I questioned Shannon’s motives and wether there would truly be a happy ending for this book. However, I reminded myself that I must trust the process. While my heart may break this author always gives her characters and ending fitting for them.

An awesome, action-packed story

Wow…….listening to this audible is amazing! This story is fast paced, filled with action and really hard to press stop. I love all the characters, but my favorite is Nix. She is really awesome, strong, protective, determined, brave and very skilled. She never hesitates, not even when her life is on the line. If I was in trouble and needed help, Nix would be the one I’d want on my side. This action-packed story is filled with danger, demons, monsters, magic, the Fallen, abnormals, talking guns, abilities, mystery, night of the bleeding stars, spells, rescues, suspense, family, friends, romance, the in-between, betrayal, sacrifice, battles, twists and turns and more!

Another great installment

Shannon Mayer has crafted another great storyline in her Nix series. It has all the action and intrigue found in earlier installments.
Khristine Hvam, as always, gave a stellar performance as she once again became Nix, breathing life into the storyline giving each character their own distinct voice.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook to paranormal mystery fans.

I can’t believe this was the last of Nix

I looooove her story. I get to live through all the feels with her. The anger, the pain, the kick@ss revenge and the soft tears of what could have beens. As always, perfect performance and I don’t even hate the ending. I simply hate that it’s an end to a great story. I hope there will be a way to revisit this world again one day. I am here for it. Thanks Shannon! What a fun ride.

Great narration and story line. Shannon Meyer is one of my favorite authors and great narration makes it come alive.
