Peggy Noonan' anthology

Peggy Noonan is always a delight to read and to contemplate her writings. This anthology an accumulated treasure. Her writing is thoughtful, insightful and erudite. It is so enjoyable to sit back and listen to these essays. I find that the subject matter chosen is interesting and as I listen to the essays, cumulatively, her intention. as described by the book's title, is fleshed out beautifully.

Noonan's insight and writing renders an extremely enjoyable and informative "must read!"

Incisive, provocative, informative

Learning things that somehow I never considered or knew. Agreement with her views is not a given, but her explanations are clear, cogent and presented in an articulate, artful use of language. Should be required reading before being allowed to speak about politics

Spectacular recollection & analysis of important moments in modern history.

Ms. Noonan is my new hero. Her accurate and prescient perspective was, and is, an inspiring re-introduction to this AMAZING country which we are all so blessed to call home. I loved the book and can’t wait to meet her someday.

Great listen

I enjoyed Peggy Noonan‘s articles, they were thoughtful and articulate. The narrator did a terrific job.

Thoughtful

I'm a Democrat and I loved it. We don't agree on everything, but we do agree on many things. Take a leap and see how many things we have in common.

Boring

I thought this would be about how America could be and how we could get there. At first Seems like more of a list of people who have some credentials sharing there ideas

off my reading-and admiration-lists.

Noonan reveals her journalistic inadequacies-& reveals her TDS..Ive read her for years; loved her skills as a writer & her observations.
But this deranged rant , in many chapters-though written in previous years-
was sick making. Whether or not you like him, he deserves more than castigating by a journalist who refuses to meet him
Don’t bother wasting time or money…
read one of Trump’s books instead, you’ll them decide for yourself.

For a book promoted on Fox news it was more consistent with Faux news. Not worth the time.
