Great stories

There are some great stories here some are scarey some are not but all leave you wishing for more. "This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."

Loved it!

52 thrilling short stories.
My favorite would have to be the last story with my favorite line being, "Aunt Riley is only still alive because God won't accept her and the devil can't stand her company."

GREAT SUSPENSE/THRILLER!

I found this book, and the narration, delightful. I loved almost every story, and they're great to read before bed! :) I am a huge horror movie fan, so I love these types of stories. I thought it was great, and I'd definitely recommend it, easy to listen to, and fun to read/listen :)

A great collection

This was a great collection of horror short stories. They definitely run the gambit from aliens to the supernatural. The narration was pretty good too. I enjoyed some of the stories more thant others, but it was an all around fun listen. If you like these sort of anthologies, you should definitely check it out.

Mostly gripping

as a fan of short story horror compilations to buy a suede does not disappoint. He weaves a tapestry of language that builds character and atmosphere quickly and apparently effortlessly before taking you on a quick ride over and over again. quite a few of these stories were very satisfying and a small handful seems like filler but overall an excellent compilation.

Some better than others...

This was a nice mix of stories, ranging from horror to scifi. As expected, some stories were better than others. I would say I at least "liked" the majority of these stories, and only disliked a few. The narration was solid and provided ample atmosphere, which conveyed the tone of the stories. I would recommend this mix.I was provided a free copy of this audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

Not what I was expecting... in a bad way

I really looked forward to listening to this book after reading 51 sleepless nights, this collection however is a pale comparison to the collection in 51 Sleepless nights. I am sad to say I feel truly let down.

Imaginative stories

These stories ranged I from good to excellent.. I appreciated the author’s ideas, but the subject matter made enjoyment difficult. I thought the narrator did an excellent job considering the dreary nature of the book’s theme.

First I did enjoy listening to this book. There were some good short stories and wanted them to be longer and some were OK but not great and were not as scary as I was expecting. 2 that come to mind as good were the art students and sex doll.
