あかちゃんといっしょに作った あかちゃんのための絵本!
「あかちゃんの好きなキャラクターを使って絵本を作りたい。」
そんな想いから企画されたのがこの絵本です。
あかちゃんが好きな絵本とされるものの多くで原色が派手に使われています。
たしかにあかちゃんは原色をよく見ますが、実はそれは視覚の発達の影響が大きく、
好きかどうかとはあまり関係がありません。
そこで私たちは、あかちゃんに審査員になってもらい、
キャラクターの人気投票をしてみることにしました。
帽子からいろいろなものを取り出してみせるのが得意な見習い手品師というテーマで描かれた
キャラクターを2つずつならべ、あかちゃんがどっちを長く見つめているかを調べ、
人気No.1を選び出したのです。
あかちゃんの視線の見つめる先をアイトラッキングという技術で追いかけ、
少し専門的な統計処理をして出てきた結果はなんと、
お父さん、お母さんの投票とはまったく逆のものでした!
