Historia
Two little girls stand with their heads bowed in my living room. I’m told they’re my granddaughters. Daisy is nine, and Alice seven. Daisy is the spitting image of her mother. This is the first time I’ve met them since my daughter and I fell out after she married that waste of space, Vince. They’ve come to live with me because their mother — my daughter — was murdered. In her own home while they slept close by. I think Vince killed her. But the police can’t prove it. I’ve always known he was no good. He treated my daughter like dirt. I said he’d cheat on her — but she wouldn’t listen.

Good start
Revisado: 02-18-25
It started off really fast and interesting. Then it stopped hard on a bunch of philosophical talk for a significant chunk of the story. Got bored at that point. The end also was uninteresting.

Great Read
Revisado: 12-06-24
Story was excellent. The narrator was great too. A bit stiff with the UK English, but that was fine. Loved the twists and surprises at the end. Only critique is the author wrapped it up way too fast compared to how he drew out the first 95%. Seemed like he got tired of writing and just slapped on an ending, which was clever but too abrupt.

crappy sound recording

Good story, bad performance
Revisado: 09-17-24
The story was clever but delivery and execution were poor. Many times, the actors sounded like they were on the other side of the room from the microphone. Sometimes the sound had so much echo, I couldn’t make out what they said. The storyline was hard to follow as a result. Needs to be produced again with better audio. The music was good.

Clever story. Narration was decent. It focused more on characters than action, which some people prefer…but I prefer more twists and turns.
