Historia
Real wolves bite...I was taught my whole life about the importance of true mates, how when you find that one wolf for you, everything falls into place. Everyone who taught me that was a liar. When I found my true mate, happily ever after sure as hell didn't start, but hell definitely began. I ran away, and now I've been searching for peace for weeks as I drive around the country. I didn't mean to take the wrong road. I didn't mean to make it to that small town. And I didn't mean to meet two men, who set me and my wolf on fire.

Good premise for a story, Horrid Narration
Revisado: 11-23-23
the very small amount times the male narrator actually had lines, he tried to at least put "some" inflection in his tone and character voices but it felt rushed.
Female Narrator, Ugh, constant word miss pronunciation, seemed to rush through parts, awkward pauses mid sentence, there is no cadence, or rhythm to her speaking, she didnt even TRY to create alternate voices for other charectors in the book. Over all story was intriguing, but they could chosen better narrators.

Historia
Some wolves are born, others are made. That’s me. I was bitten, forced into this life against my will. Worse still, my wolf is an alpha female, meant to rule. But existing pack prejudices mean that every battle is fought uphill. Then there’s the fact that alpha females take on five mates. Five! I’ve never even had a serious boyfriend, and now everyone expects me to manage five? I have to find myself and my fated mates, all while navigating a dark academy with haunted halls and vicious spirits.

Great Story, Bad Male Narrator
Revisado: 11-04-23
So over all i loved this series, it was done very well. Female Narrator knocked it out of the park. Male narrator had the emotional Range and tone of a Math book. Very Disjointed, several chapters Male narrator repeated himself or repeated lines more then a few times. No real flow or emotional connection between Male Narrator and his characters, Males Voices/Animal voices also exceptionally forced. again Female Narrator did a fantastic job distinguishing between her animal half and her human half with a lot of great humor
Female Narrator is the only reason this gets 3 stars for performance.

Pretty good, But.....
Revisado: 02-22-20
If you dont like a lot of Moderate to Heavy Sexual themes and innuendos and acts then this book isnt for you. Overall i found the story actually intriguing, There are several other authors who have taken the "Humanity has been over run and is now nothing but property" angle in their stories but every one has its own unique flair, this is a very Fast burn story that drew me in.
The male Narrator however, i felt they could have done better with, or he could have changed the inflection and mood of his spoken lines or even the speed of his speech. Even for me he came across just too heavy, and slow, every word had an almost slow paced cadence to it that kinda drove me nuts with that deep, hard pushed "I have to breath between every word" drive to it, instead of just speaking in a civilized tone. The Female Narrator was nearly a polar opposite, i loved her voice, her take on the difference voices she portrayed and more then once found myself skipping the male narrator's chapter just to get back to her point of view.
Cant wait for the next book!

Needs a better Narrator
Revisado: 02-19-19
I really like the premise and summary of the book, but after just 10 minutes of listening i had to turn it off. This Narrator just has one of those voices, like he should be doing Movie Preview voice overs not romance books. His cadence of speech, and the baritone boom of a voice just grated on my hearing, think ill just find the E-book and read that. It really does seem like a good story, but yea, just cant listen

what could have been......
Revisado: 09-26-18
It was an interesting concept, but i found it extremely hard to get past the 5th chapter without turning it off or switching to another book. While the overall premise of the book is promising, the Narrator just doesnt do it for me, and i found it hard to continue listening past the dull dry tone he used, while i do applaud his effort, just the cadence of his speech and the tries with the character voices just turned me off listening further.
