Historia
When he catches his fiancée in bed with another man, Jackson is set adrift on a sea of hurt and confusion. A lonely raft on the tossing waves of heartbreak, if you will. Good thing that Alexis—the cheating wench—previously booked two non-refundable tickets for a romantic cruise on the Sundance. It was supposed to be a sexy four-night Mexican getaway with wine tastings, duty-free shopping sprees, couple’s massages, amazing food, and long nights tangled in the sheets of a deluxe cabin with a sea-view balcony… all paid for with Jackson’s money.

Cute, breezy read
Revisado: 11-10-24
This was a breath of fresh air and so fun to listen to. It was a MM "beach read" type book, with spice and a great ending. Good humor, too.

Absolutely riveting
Revisado: 08-30-24
I was new to the dark romance category, but this title was an amazing way to start. Alex's story was atmospheric from the first word, immersing me in the bleak cityscape of Emberford where the sun never seems to shine, and the winter is oppressive. The characters were vivid, the story was brisk and captivating, and I liked the open-ended conclusion.
The audio performance was fantastic and immersed me in the authors' world. A great marriage of writing and narration.

Historia
Viviana Gomez has big plans: graduating college a year early and becoming an ice-skating superstar. In the meantime, she’s coaching young skaters at Lucky Thirteen Academy, the top training facility in Chicago. A distraction comes in the form of Bram Findlay, the arena’s new owner. He’s not only intelligent and charming, but he’s also hotter than Vivi cares to admit.

Hot, engaging story about two people trying to find their way through love. The performance was amazing. I could listen to Sadie Provost read the phone book. I thoroughly enjoyed this title.

Fantastic!

The performer did an amazing job on this title. The story was great--a coming-of-age story about a young woman discovering that her heterosexual dream life was not her truth--and felt authentic and powerful. But Gillian Wiggin made this story. I love how she brought Auntie Bitsy to life!

Historia
Camila Sharpe is in shambles. She’s broke, her boyfriend—make that “ex-boyfriend”— is an abusive jerk, and she’s technically homeless. Thank God for her best friend, Melrose, a gorgeous nightclub singer with a heart as big as her voice. Melrose is letting Camila crash on her couch and is helping her pick up the pieces of her dumpster-fire life. They watch TV, share long conversations, and do an inexplicable amount of cuddling. Why the hell does getting back on her feet feel so damn much like falling in love?

I enjoyed the story of Camila and Melrose. It was a classic friends-to-lovers story with characters you wanted to see happy. The spice was good and the ending was nice. The performance was fabulous.
