I was gobsmacked by the tension and suspense in the storyline; Vondereau examines the full spectrum of parental emotions saving a young adult with addiction. From rehab to kidnapping to offering up one’s safety to protect your child, this author paints a realistic portrayal of the cartel’s reputation for inhumane behavior. My attention was grabbed on page one and held until the last page. A five star must read!

I snort laughed a few times

The dialogue was so witty and the storyline kept me entertained the whole way through. Everly and Hardy were just right together and made sense and seemed to fit each other’s quirks!

A guy that big who’s very agile and fast with a great work ethic and a brain for math, computers and financial analysis to boot? What a combo! And he’s so witty and never backs away from danger! Very highly recommended memoir

Mississippi Hippie is the memoir you never knew you needed to read/hear. From a dysfunctional beginnings with background that’s shared by many (though rarely talked about), Willy traveled through the MS delta and across the nation to settle in a city known for the blues as he carved out a life and a career as a filmmaker, photographer and storyteller that recounts poignantly and touchingly. Very highly recommended, especially as an audiobook.

Bridesmaid for Hire was the Perfect blend of spice and quirky banter to keep me turning the pages. In true Meghan Quinn fashion, this book stole my heart. I highly recommend this book both for storyline in Bora Bora and the wonderful characters. This pair of narrators really brought it to life. I loved it. This had all the elements that have a reader becoming a MQ fan: a great meet-cute, witty dialog, enemies to lovers, fake dating, and more. Must read!

Yes, it is - eye- opening and mind bending. There’s something so soul altering about losing child, especially to suicide or murder. The healing journey to move past the pain to survival and then life again is different for each person or parent. Then a different path opens to this author. Read or listen and suspend disbelief. Consider the possibilities. Recommended.

Detective Delaney Pace is becoming my favorite main character; the pain of her past shaped her, but she still strong, honest and loving. Plus she’s a great driver and a great shot. Her map skills are off the chart. I can’t wait for book number four.
