Excellent production fun story

Another excellent story with a great production quality. The story kept me engaged and wanting to come back for more.

Cozy and engaging

A shinning example of a cozy LitRPG. The story is engaging, yet relaxing and is hard to put down. It took a few chapters for me to get caught with the hook, but once hooked the line never snapped.

The narrator does a solid job. I gave it 5 stars as the narrator added depth and delivered a good performance. It may not stand out as award winning, but it certainly meets or exceeds expectations.

Dissapointed

It feels as if Dr. Kong is tired of the series but doesn't want to give it up. It felt like a fan service book Dr. Kong felt obligated to write, but didn't have his heart in. He didn't end the series with this book leading me to believe he still loves the series, but perhaps needs a break? Overall, not a lot happened, I wouldn't even say there was a real climax or solution. Generally I love Dr. Kong's work, but this book was a struggle.

Good story frustrating narration.

narrator speaks too slow and it drives me nuts. I listen to him at 1.15 and it makes it better, but not great.

read at 1.20 speed.

The narrator reads at the slowest most deadpan speed. It actually sounds much more human and with better inflection at 1.20 speed. Shame I have to speed it up but at least its not a total loss.

Slow at first better towards end.

The first two stories were slow and I put this book off to the side for a while. The third story was better and I really enjoyed the 4th story.

dreadfully slow

The first 3/4 of the book is just political jockeying and maneuvering and the last 1/4 you are so done with the story the slight increase in pace isn't enough to regain your attention.

The book could have been half as long and more enjoyable. If not for its repetitive themes and drawn out story line it would have been tolerable as a political book setting up the force awakens.

What would have made The Power of The Enneagram better?

The book is split into nine chapters, one for each enneagram. Each Chapter last approximately an hour however, the first 30 minutes or so of each chapter is a direct repeat of the introduction to the enneagram. This means one hears the same 30 minute introduction nine times. I like to Listen while I drive so manually trying to skip past the introduction 9 time was very frustrating.

What could Don Richard and Russ Hudson Riso have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The content is good but the layout and presentation was frustrating to say the least.

This book does give a good understanding of each type of Enneagram number and describes the best way to interact with each type. The content is good when it is new and fresh, but over half of the book is repeated 9 times.
