This book is just what I need. My daughter is in competitive cheerleading, softball, and basketball. I have been fighting her for years on how to stay healthy enough to get through all the seasons, especially on game/competition day. Being in sports 7 days a week wears on her body and now I can empower her to do this on her own. This book made me realize I need to step back and let her make her own decisions, but allowing me to support her when needed. I love the strategies and I love the 6 week plan so it is not so overwhelming. This book has it all for the elite athlete and I will be sharing this resource with all my parents on the teams.

This book is great! It is helpful for everyone, not just those who have a diagnosed anxiety and depression. The strategies in the book will help those with severe anxiety or those with lingering anxiety. The author is very knowledgeable and applies evidence-based approaches to help alleviate the overpowering anxiety and depression those with diagnoses feel. I am a social worker and will share this resource with my clients. The meditation and breathing strategies are easy to follow and spot on. You will not be disappointed!

This book is so good! I have all the typical menopausal symptoms that this author attacks and I cannot tell you how glad I am that I found this book. The lack of sleep, the hot flashes, the weight gain, osteoporosis. I can go on forever, and it was so nice to find a book that helps in all these areas.
