The performance and accent was superb but...
Revisado: 03-26-19
Not the best McKinty can do. I like how the stories were interwoven but just a little bit flat. I hope this book of McKinty's isn't your first.

No, not Jake!
Revisado: 03-09-19
Good story, I hate when authors always play the same note, as in always the same plot. Well not this time, a very different story. This is book 13 and Jake is in trouble of a very a different kind. One criticism, where is Granny and Kit, I love her ways.

Historia
Being on the murder squad is nothing like Detective Antoinette Conway dreamed it would be. Her partner, Stephen Moran, is the only person who seems glad she's there. The rest of her working life is a stream of thankless cases, vicious pranks, and harassment. Antoinette is savagely tough, but she's getting close to the breaking point. Their new case looks like yet another by-the-numbers lovers' quarrel gone bad. Aislinn Murray is blond, pretty, groomed to a shine, and dead in her catalogue-perfect living room, next to a table set for a romantic dinner.

Historia
Thomas Kilbride is a map-obsessed schizophrenic so affected that he rarely leaves the self-imposed bastion of his bedroom. But with a computer program called Whirl360.com, he travels the world while never so much as stepping out the door. He pores over and memorizes the streets of the world. He examines every address, as well as the people who are frozen in time on his computer screen. Then he sees something that anyone else might have stumbled upon - but has not - in a street view of downtown New York City: an image in a window. An image that looks like a woman being murdered.

I wish I could give this book 6 Stars!
Revisado: 03-08-16
If a great audio book is a scoop of ice cream this one is a chocolate sunday. Different characters have different voices, there are sound effects and music to go along with certain scenes. And also you get a great story, battles, things blowing up; everything a young reader will like. But under this a story about doing the right thing, about the hero of the story wondering, 'Am I doing the right thing, what IS the right thing?'
You don't have to be a young person to ask yourself these questions. It is a book that makes you think, when was last time you read one like that!

As always Audible does a great job with voices and accents, sometimes I think I get the next book just because I love to hear the Audible performance. But J.D. Robb is getting old with the same retelling of the same basic story line. Come on J. D. give me another character add something new!

WELL DONE, MR. DEMILLE.
Revisado: 11-14-12
Another story about John Corey fighting Al Qaeda, oh no; but this was an OH YES! I am a big Nelson DeMille fan but I didn't want another The Lion book and it wasn't. And as an added surprise - not a spoiler - Paul Brenner is back - from The General's Daughter and Up Country. A story with John, Kate and Paul how could you go wrong; Oh, and a few love to hate characters.
Nelson DeMille did not disappoint me, I like an author who has more then one great character and this story has room for more stories to come.
