I am sure there are plenty of women out there who are dying to go out with a nice-looking guy like you,” Felicity said. “There’s only one woman I want to be with tonight,” Nick said quietly. “And, I am sure that she would love to be with you too,” Felicity said. “She doesn’t…I haven’t told her how I feel?” Nick said. “Then, you definitely should?” Felicity said slowly. “I have every intention of letting her know how I feel,” Nick said as his eyes bore into hers. “So, why are you standing around here? Call her. Better yet, go see her,” Felicity said. Nick moved in a little closer. He had to touch her. He had too. He had spent most of the evening with her fixing cupcakes and watching the McDaniel’s celebrate the upcoming wedding of their son, and Nick’s heart ached. He couldn’t stand another minute of not having her. Nick looked deep into Felicity’s eyes. He was going to tell tonight. And, he was definitely going to kiss her. “I will,” Nick said as his lips descended upon hers and he guided her into his arms… Nick Harper has been in love with Felicity Jones for two years. The woman was smart, beautiful, and an awesome cook. But, Nick had hesitated to let the owner of Devilish Delight’s Bakery know just how he felt for fear of ruining their friendship.
