This is a fascinating tail of mental manipulation and gaslighting.

The AI was not as good at expressing the emotions or the feelings there were in the book. It severly lacked the ability to bring James' torture to the front or Mia's gaslighting and manipulations to the forefront. The excitement and trepidation just wasn't there. A human narrator would have been much better. The book itself was great! Mia was a master at warping James' mind to believe he wanted each step they took, each boundry they passed. She completely broke him. Although in the end, he was at least attempting to get part of his "life before Mia" back. I'm not to sure he will succeed, but at least he is trying. Good luck! Once you become a toilet slave, there isn't really any coming back from that. You become addicted to it, obsessed with it, you need it, you want it. The humiliation, degradation and shame also become an addiction that is very hard to shake.
