Wow what a wild ride, this audiobook was very good. The narrators were amazing and this was a new to me author, i will definitely be listening to her again. Now i will say you really have to be pay attention to this one, i listen to these books and a couple of time i had to go back and relisten just to make sure i understand correctly. I have 2 kids, always saying mom lol. I’m not going to say too much because i don’t want to spoil anything but this story is about a FBI agent, the FMC (Alex). And she on the hunt to find the killer. There is a tragic past the comes to life. This story definitely had me hooked and I would highly recommend this story.

Oh my gaaaawd! CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS! Dub/non con, knife play, stalking, drugs, psychotic possesive MMC, human trafficking, Primal play, graphic violence, graphic murder, forced pregnancy, child abuse (the bad guys, obv not the good...ish? guys) and that's not even the tip of the iceberg. SO, if you are overly sensitive and/or easily triggers then this book is not for you, save your money and walk away. If you're looking for a sweet bubbly romance... then I honestly don't know how the hell you ended up here but you need to do a 180 right now because this isnt your cup of tea dearie, this is the good russian vodka your mom tried hiding in a mt dew bottle and pass it off as such so she can get through a 12 hr workday then deal with you lil'tude when she got home. I usually dont react or even blink with these types of books, but oh this one gave me a run for my money. This book 🥵🤤❤️‍🔥🔥🔥 I loved the Haunting Adeline books and never thought I'd find something to compare, until this book! I've lost count of how many times I had to pause and smack my face to calm myself down. I love how messed up they are. Judge all you want, it's hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and I know what I like. Usually the FMC is a timid lil pretend rebel who is actually a major push over. Alex was a badass even when the MMCs were in control she kept up a fight,.. and then proceeded to make the smut even more intense 😋. When the first stalkers mask came off I paused immediately when she said his name and lost my shit. I definitely am planning to have a round 2 with this book!

This was such a thrilling story that kept me on edge. For a moment, I almost lost my mind with the female character name Alex/ Alexander Darling. This is a dark mystery romance with a delicious plot twist. I absolutely recommend it. Lucy Rivers and Jameson Adams did a fantastic job narrating this story.

The guy should have read the guys parts
The female narrator kinda ruined the guys parts with the way she read it. The guy should have had more of a chance to narrate, Besides that though the story was really great and it’s a good read

The book isn’t bad but it’s so similar to the Hollows Row series that I couldn’t finish the book.

The plot was honestly really good. My only complaints were that there was so much repetition of phrases and words that it got a bit annoying, but I ignored it most of the time. No hate to the voice performers but I ended up cringing at some parts and wished that the male voice performer performed the male lines instead of just the chapters.

This was overall a good book. I like Lucy Rivers from the Broken Kingdoms series I listened to. However, I am not a fan of the women actors that read for the male parts and vise verse. audio book flow so much nicer when the woman reads the female lead and man read the male lead. I liked the plot twist but I figured out who the murders were earlier on, unsure if it was supposed to be that easy to figure out. If you like two male protagonists and one woman you will like, that’s not my fancy.
