 Part 1 of the Four Down Territory: First and Ten Men is a collection of 10 very short stories involving a husband and wife team, Mike and Kate. In this 10-part collection, Kate embarks on a plan to even out a disparity in the number of sexual partners the couple had been with prior to getting married. At the outset, Kate had only been with two other men while Mike had been with a dozen women. Each of the 10 micro-short stories (about 3 pages) follows Kate on “dates” that have been arranged through a dating site by her husband. Wanting it to be more than simply hookups, Mike plans elaborate meetings in different places under different circumstances. His imagination and her lust lead Kate on a wild journey that turns out to be so much more than a pursuit of sex.
