Victoria Quinn is a new author to me, while I have listened to both Lia Langola and Michael Ferraiuolo before. I have not listened to many BDSM books, but I found this one to be quite good and the performances excellent. I thought the story line was reminiscent of the Fifty Shades of Gray. The story is dark, twisted and sexy. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and/narrators.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the alpha, obsession of Calloway a jerk but that's him how much he wanted Rome

Which character – as performed by Michael Ferraiuolo and Lia Langola – was your favorite?

Calloway the narrator was absolutely perfect felt like he truly was Calloway

I rate it a four. It was an interesting study of human relationships and I enjoyed it.

I would have liked the book better if the language was a little more refined. The imagination goes along way. I do like the app however.

I really did not like the voice of the guy narrating this book- he did not sound dominant, nor sexy and missed emotion in his reading. It really downgraded the quality of the book. Why don't they select better?
The woman on the other hand was amazing, had an amazing emotion in the right places.
The book itself is good: great strength of both protagonists and an interesting storyline. The cliffhanger could have been more suspenseful but still interested in the next book.

The narration was ok, but I'm not a huge fan of audibles. I did like that the male parts were read by a male and the female parts were read by a female.
