William A Singleton has been writing since he was a teenager often creating new worlds with his imagination inspired by his father who would get him and his brother washing machine boxes to make spaceships out of construction paper, paint & Christmas lights. William’s imagination inspired him to create new worlds in his writing and fight for a better world in his career as a counselor. Seeing the plight of many of his clients that battle with addictions William wanted to give them a real voice in his stories to show the world what he sees every day. “The fear, hope and vulnerability of every person that bravely enrolls in treatment are all heroes to me.” The courage to come clean and get clean motivated William to go into private practice specializing in Addictions, start a YouTube channel (Savage Sobriety) championing the cause of understanding addictions, writing self-help books to effectively identify and treat addictions (The Desert of Addictions 1 & 2) and finally writing his first fictional novel showcasing the real struggle of addicts in this dynamic supernatural mystery thriller. “It is my sincere hope to change the face of how we see addictions, to help my people receive the quality service and respect they need, to achieve the successful sober lifestyle they deserve…” W.A.
