Steven T. Collis is a critically-acclaimed author of both fiction and nonfiction books and is a law professor at the University of Texas at Austin. A former research fellow at Stanford Law School, he is the founding faculty director of the University of Texas's Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center and is one of the nation's leading thought leaders on the First Amendment, religious liberty, and civil discourse. He regularly speaks to major media outlets and lay audiences all over the globe on those issues. His books include Habits of a Peacemaker, Deep Conviction, The Immortals, and Praying with the Enemy. Originally from New Mexico, Steven lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and children.
