Sriranjani Vijenthira is a Jaffna-born Tamil-Canadian writer, Tamil language teacher, curriculum developer, language assessor, and a mother of three. She holds a Master of Arts in Tamil language and literature. Sriranjani has published over 10 books, including Tamil workbooks at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced level, short story collections, essay collections, and children's stories. For her short story collection, Sriranjani was awarded the 2019 Godage National Literary Award. She has also received numerous teaching awards.
