Raj Badhwar has 30 years of experience in IT and Cybersecurity. He’s had several IT/Security leadership roles – Currently the VP & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Jacobs Engineering, formerly the CISO at Oracle, the Global CISO at Voya Financial, Global Head of Information Security at AIG, and IT/Security leader at BAE Systems Inc., Bank of America, and AOL Time Warner. Raj is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP), a certified ethical Hacker (CEH), Oracle cloud certified professional (OCP), ITIL v3, and a FINRA licensed securities professional (Series 99). He has authored five cybersecurity books, Generative AI: Strategies for Risk Management and Secure Implementations, The CISO Guide to Incident Response, The CISO Guide to Zero Trust Security, The CISO’s Next Frontier: AI, Post-Quantum Cryptography and Advanced Security Paradigms, and The CISO’s Transformation: Security leadership in a high threat landscape. He has co-authored 14 security patents, written many security articles for magazines and presented at security conferences. He received the Top CISO award for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. Raj serves on the CxO Trust Council of Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the CISO advisory council for Infosys, and the advisory board of directors for The Cybersecurity Hall of Fame. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and advices several boards on Cybersecurity and IT Strategy. Raj graduated from George Washington University (GWU) with a M.S. in Information Systems Technology, and from Karnatak University with a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
