Writing is my happy place, My goal is to empower people and spark conversations. My debut young adult novel, Starting Tomorrow, follows teen Mack Stewart through friendships, romance, and family dynamics, as she faces her struggle with food and self-image. This story was inspired by my personal struggle with bulimia in high school. I think so many of us can relate to judging ourselves and feeling less-than. I've spent many years nurturing my relationship with myself, and I'm happy to write about a character who is on that same journey.
