Miller Youst (1943- )was born in Northern Colorado, his father was an AAU Basketball Player, and his mother a Singer and Flapper in the 1920's. A former Athlete himself, a Symphony Musician, and later on a touring Jazz Trumpet man; he became inspired to write Poetry and developed a love of Painting. The latter led to his opening of the Galerie Miller-Youst in Le Veux Montreal in the 70's and early 80's. A Major Retrospective of his Paintings in Denver in 1985 also appeared on CBS Television's On The Lookout. After a Celebrated Career as an International Painter & Sculptor, Youst married the beautiful Ballerina Karen Mercier in Los Angeles, and they acquired a Horse Ranch in the Coastal Range of Oregon to raise a family. Although Youst appeared in the John Huston Film Angela in 1977, he did not resurrect his Acting career until 2007 in Hollywood, at the age of 64, having been in over 40 Films since, with Roles in European Films as well. Earlier in his life, he was a student of Tibetan Raja Yoga, and it was in 1968, that the first Vision of Gideon Gideon was formed until it culminated in 2007. Besides Film, Youst also is a Narrator for Amazon/Audible Books, with a dozen Titles. He now resides in the Sonoma Wine Country of Northern California.
