MICHELLE LAYER RAHAL is the indie award-winning author of "Straining Forward" and "Are You Listening?". She is passionate about spiritual formation and leads women, students, and the homeless in weekly Bible studies and annual retreats. This former radio news reporter and educational consultant writes a weekly newsletter that shows readers how to nurture their own spiritual eyes and ears, and she coaches aspiring authors toward publication. When she's not writing, speaking, or coaching, Michelle can be found in the kitchen preparing a gourmet meal for friends and family. She and her husband Greg (who makes her laugh every day) live in northern Virginia.
