Divido la mia vita fra la magica atmosfera di Roma e la campagna toscana, un’oasi di tranquillità nella quale mi rifugio quando la scrittura richiede maggiore concentrazione. Amo profondamente la letteratura, la poesia e la storia del passato, soprattutto quella del Regno Unito e, non appena mi è possibile, compio lunghi viaggi nei luoghi in cui ambiento i miei romanzi, per poterli descrivere fedelmente ai lettori.
