"Find me where the wild things are, or don't. Either way, I’ll still be here." Born in Buffalo, NY, Konrad is an American novelist. He loves the thrill of travel and encourages others to do so. He now calls Detroit home. His adventures have shaped a unique and powerful perspective on the world. He practices omnism and he has a deep respect for a wide set of cultures or beliefs. With a robust background in the zoological field, he possesses invaluable hands-on experience in wildlife conservation, having founded his own nonprofit working with partners like the Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary in Michigan. He is an avid member of The Creature Conservancy in Ann Arbor. His deep respect for nature is rooted in challenges in the pet trade, which sparked his commitment to conservation and fueled his passion for raising awareness about the challenges we face in our National Parks. For years, he has dedicated countless hours to animal rescue and veterinary work throughout metro Detroit. His journey through history-rich landscapes has instilled a profound appreciation for human heritage. Coupled with a deep love for animals, his enthusiasm for the natural world is boundless. In 2019, he successfully helped launch The Gorilla Ambassadors Program in the Democratic Republic of Congo which was recognized by the UN reflecting his strong connection to diverse global communities. These rich experiences empower his storytelling, allowing him to weave compelling narratives that resonate deeply with others. Since a young age, Konrad has always had a passion for wildlife. He spends a lot of time with his family and helping others in his community. Konrad encourages his readers to be compassionate through his fictional details. His characters are meant to inspire and inform. His writing is meant to unite and empower the individual through literature. In his free time, he revels in heavy bass music, spends time with his family, attends classes and enjoys quality moments with his dog.
