Ken Connally has been writing for almost 40 years. He has lived in the Austin Texas area with his wife since 1987. Diagnosed at the age of 18 months with Type 1 Diabetes, his lifelong struggles with the complications of the illness are the driving factor for much of his writing. Ken strives to write stories that appeal to both children and adults. Many of the reviews of his books are from adult readers depicting their own experience while reading Ken's books. His stories are meant to uplift and elicit a range of emotion. While writing, Ken imagines readers sharing the stories as he did with his own children when they were younger.
