I grew up in Dayton Ohio and worked as a Kettering Police Officer for several years. I worked the street and was also trained as a helicopter pilot. I worked in retail security for almost 30 years before retiring to a lake in Alabama where I still live. While working in retail security I performed hundreds of interrogations, was cut with razor blades, had a hole bit in my leg, and had to fight in self defense numerous times. Retail security was a "real education" into how sneaky and dishonest some people can be. I wrote my first book using a laptop while waiting at airports being bored because of flight delays etc. and being unable to find a book to read which I liked. In my THE RIGHT THING series of books, many are based lightly on true news stories seen on TV or the internet. If I see a story of someone who committed a serious crime but was not charged by the authorities or were found not guilty, I add a few twisted ideas to the stories and the main character in the series, a young blond former sheriff deputy, searches down the bad guy and delivers justice herself. All of my books are relatively short and are an easy read. All are priced at only $0.99 on Amazon as Kindle books and I give at least one book away free every day as a Kindle book on Amazon.
