Jacynth J Johnson is a New York native born to Caribbean parents. She has served as a middle school Language Arts and high school English teacher, Literacy Coach and currently serves as a Middle School Supervisor. Johnson empowers educators through her part-time consultant work with the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA). Her doctorate pursuits in Educational Leadership will conclude when she finishes her dissertation; she likes to take meaningful breaks to create learning experiences for teachers and write books. Her life's work is to empower educators to unlock their fullest potential in the classroom and assist girls (ages 7-18)—through her non-profit—to discover, own, and walk boldly into their future. Apart from her education and social entrepreneurship endeavors, Johnson loves to learn about people and culture through travel.
