J Rusty Shaffer is an entrepreneur, CEO, and attorney with over thirty years of experience in all aspects of business including international sales, marketing, and manufacturing around the world – specifically in China. Rusty is the inventor of the Fretlight Guitar, which incorporates a lighted learning system into the fretboard of a real guitar. He is the named inventor on eight patents relevant to various facets of the Fretlight technology. Rusty has recorded two music albums and also played on stage over the years with various music greats, including the Grammy award-winning band America. Rusty is a commercial pilot and flight instructor. Rusty has also been a consultant to various businesses and mentors entrepreneurs around the world. He spent four years as an adjunct professor in the entrepreneurship department at the University of Nevada, Reno. He’s currently the CEO of Airspeed Audio and lives in Henderson Nevada where he’s an avid golfer.
