Hanno has been dividing his life between two passions – art and international relations. While living and working in Belgium for the Foreign Ministry (Hanno has BA in Law and MA in Diplomacy), the evenings and weekends were often occupied by Snupsi, a character whom he had first created and sculpted in his childhood, but now had a serious desire to find his way between the covers of a children’s book. The writing continued on an island in the Philippines, where most of the inspiration and the book’s fantasy found its source. “Snupsi” is Hanno’s debut children’s book featuring his sculpted characters living on a fictional Juniper island. Hanno makes also 3D printed and hand painted figures from the characters of the book and a cuddly Snupsi plush toy with a backpack. Hanno's summers are mostly spent on Hiiumaa - a Northern European island in the Baltic Sea. He enjoys jogging near the seaside, sculpting, photography and working in the garden. And yes, he has more plans with Snupsi, but all in good time.
