David Brown learned entrepreneurship the hard way: by co-founding Pinpoint Technologies, growing it, selling it, staying on as president, leaving it, returning to it, and finally co-founding Techstars with David Cohen, Brad Feld, and Jared Polis. He invested in and advised Techstars since its founding in 2006. He currently serves as CEO. Techstars is the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed and David has worked with thousands of founders and startups helping to create entrepreneurial ecosystems throughout the world. David has a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. As a ski instructor in the past, David still enjoys hitting the slopes on a good powder day. He lives in Boulder, Colorado, with his wife and family.
