Christabelle Marbun was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia and currently resides in California. She entered the film industry at 2 years old and was nominated for Best Child Actor in the Indonesian Oscars for the Indonesian Film Festival in heart of her home country Jakarta. After writing and self-publishing two poetry collections at just 16 years old, her first book, The Hard Part is Living, hit the #1 Amazon Bestsellers List in Asian Poetry. Christabelle writes about trauma, pain, heartbreak, and healing and, through her art, she has slowly found a way to fall in love with being alive again.
