Fundamentally, Chris believes that PEOPLE are put on this earth with one sole PURPOSE and gain their greatest happiness when their PASSION impacts others in a POSITIVE way. Chris’s passion for helping individuals achieve their personal and professional goals started as a social studies teacher and men’s college basketball coach. This passion carried over to an extremely successful 25+ year career in the field of proprietary education focused primarily on start-up and turnaround opportunities. Throughout his career, he has excelled in establishing positive and engaging environments for people to become the best versions of themselves. As part of this, he has developed on-going accountability models for academic, athletic, and corporate teams focused on driving individual and ultimately team success. Currently, Chris is the Vice President, Student Onboarding & Retention for Trilogy Education Services, a 2U Inc. brand. Chris has played an integral role in scaling the growth of the fastest-growing EdTech company in history. Prior to joining Trilogy Education Services, Chris served as Director of Midwest Operations for Educational Services of America; Director of MBA Relations for Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, Regional Director for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions; and most recently as the Senior Vice President, Alternative Education at Edison Learning. Throughout his professional career, Chris has had created positive impacts on the lives of well over 100,000 students. Chris resides in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL with his wife and two kids. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Behavior from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
