Chas Carner was born in New York and grew up in New Hampshire. After graduating from Dartmouth College, he began his freelance career creating - and winning awards for - books, short stories and documentaries; he has also written for network television, monthlies and e-zines. For the YA market, he has written "Tawny", as well as the novelization of Walt Disney's "The Last Filght of Noah's Ark'". He is co-autor of "Venicewalks" and "Naviagting Venice", literary travel guides to that Italian city. Chas is founder of CarnerTales LLC comprising teams of artists and specialists, all charged with creating narratives that are timely, prosocial and nonviolent. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter.
