Dr. Brian R. Johnson is an internationally known executive, author, and public speaker in the Business and Technology Consulting industry. Dr. Johnson began his career in software development building call center systems for companies such as QVC, Bergdorf-Goodman, and Inmac. Later he helped quickly grow the customer relationship management practice at Grant Thornton, LLP serving such clients as Schlumberger, Nortel Networks, and Convergys. After he and his partners sold their consulting practice to Hitachi, Ltd. he was a founding executive at the now $1B Hitachi Consulting Corporation focused on helping clients succeed through the optimization and automation of their sales, marketing, and customer service functions. At Hitachi Consulting, Dr. Johnson served such clients as Toyota Motor Sales, T-Mobile, and Microsoft. Dr. Johnson recently took a two year sabbatical to serve in the U.S. Peace Corps in Mexico working on Technology Transfer with the Mexican government agencies CONACYT and SEMERNAT. Dr. Johnson holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Economics as well as an MBA in Information Systems from the University of Colorado, and a Ph.D. in Information Systems Management from the college of Applied Management and Decision Sciences at Walden University. Dr. Johnson currently resides on Galveston Island, Texas.
