About the author: Brad Veech, has been a leader in Procurement for over 20 years and is responsible for over $1.5 billion in spend. Through his career he has had software deals ranging from $75 to over $1 billion dollars on a single deal. He has saved the organizations he has worked for hundreds of millions of dollars using the strategies he outlined in this book. Brad is passionate about building world class IT procurement teams and developing negotiation strategies, tools, and best practices. Brad has been a keynote speaker at national procurement conferences and continues to use any method he can to spread the word about creating better long term software contracts. Brad received his MBA from the University of Illinois, and he enjoys fishing, golfing, and helping others learn how to effectively negotiate software deals.
