Beth A. Richardson is Dean Emeritus of The Upper Room Chapel and a retired elder in the Mountain Sky Conference of The United Methodist Church. A native Oklahoman, Richardson is a photographer, spiritual director, artist, musician, writer, and worship leader. She has the honor of sharing life with her spouse, Jenni, in Nashville, Tennessee. She is passionate about dogs, particularly Scotties. She is author of "Child of the Light" (Upper Room, 2006), "The Uncluttered Heart" (Upper Room, 2009), and "Christ Beside Me, Christ Within Me: Celtic Blessings" (Upper Room, 2016), "Jack's Book of Blessings" (2019), and "Walking in the Wilderness" (Upper Room, 2020). Beth's newest book, "Davida Angelica Roared", is coming out fall of 2024 -- a story about a courageous lion named Davida Angelica.
