My Army Daze by Andrew Wishart, volume 2 in the Daze series, follows his whimsical military experiences on very active service with the Kings Own Scottish Borderers in Malaya during the troubled 1950's. Here we find Andy making the transfer from teenage to adult pretty damn quick! #3 in the 'DAZE' series, My Rock 'N' Roll Daze, recounts his musical adventures in the early 60's in Scotland. Andy describes how it was during the Swingin' Sixties with his band playing in dance halls, clubs and pubs and daft tales of night life in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders with punch ups, daft happenings and also a slight brush with fame on BBC radio. His stories eventually find him playing with The Shoos Bloos Band when he was the landlord of an English pub during the 80's. Andy has just been Highly Commended in the Award for Creative Arts by the Stroke Association for achievement in their annual Life After Stroke Awards.
