There are men - and then there are MEN. Ones who protect and pursue, who demand and desire, who know what they want and unapologetically take it - in life and in love. Now, New York Times best-selling author Shayla Black and Rhyannon Byrd team up to deliver sizzling stories of suspense and seduction, as two women let their longings loose - and go head-to-head and body-to-body with the men who ignite their passion.
Wicked All Night by Shayla Black: A sweet school teacher who changed towns, jobs, and lives after she divorces and decides to take a lover. She hooks up with a bodyguard whose talents under the sheets make her melt. Until she learns that his motives are just as dangerous as they are wicked…Make Me Yours by Rhyannon Byrd:After her father is murdered, a woman finds herself next on the kill list-and forced to reconnect with the one man who can keep her alive. And as danger stalks her, she'll surrender herself to the lawman whose every touch leaves her breathless and exposed….

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Wicked All Night by Shayla Black: Good installment for the Wicked Lovers Series-not great, but enjoyable. The plot of 'who wants to kill Rachel' was kind of thin-perhaps if it were a novel and more room to explore/expand the plot it would have been great. Since it was a 'novella' it felt a bit weak. KUDOS to SHAYLA BLACK for not REMINDING the reader of the plot every 20 minutes or so as in past books. 4 Stars for Overall and Story - 1 Star for performance'Make Me Yours by Rhyannon Byrd: I could not 'get into' this book at all. We are dropped into the middle of the story...the hero & heroine knew each other years ago-they get together again and each have inner dialog whining about their sexual fantasies/frustrations. The 'mystery' did not lure me in and the book did not hold my interest. Never heard of this author and will not seek out any of her other work. 1 or 2 Stars for Overall & Story - 2 Stars for Performance.
Would you be willing to try another one of Aletha George’s performances?
What happened to Lexi Maynard, narrator of the Wicked Lovers Series? Althea George sounds very mature (o.k. OLD) for Wicked All Night characters...Xander and Javier sounded like they had laryngitis and Rachel sounded like she was old enough to have a walker! Not sexy!!She was a wee bit better for Make Me Yours, perhaps because I had no expectations for these characters from past books.
I MAY give her another shot-but only in a continuation of a series I'm already invested in.
Was Wicked and Dangerous worth the listening time?
Wicked All Night-AbsolutelyMake Me Yours-Not at all
Any additional comments?
Both novellas are incredibly graphic for mature audiences. Strong languageRating Misleading As 2 Books Included in One

Both stories were good and similar in style. Hot, dangerous and adrenaline pumping. I enjoyed both but as they are short they leave a bit to be desired in depth. I do want a lot from a story and I always feel like I want more information, that is me, may not be applicable for all. If you've listened to all the Wicked Lovers books you of course have to continue, but I will say, you really don't get to visit with the previous couples.
Not as good as the rest 2 short books in 1!

For the first book, I didn't think the plot was plausible at all and I really don't like insta-love and this one was completely insta-love... like 1 day and they were getting married. I just couldn't.
The second book was just ok, it didn't really grab me and the characters were very transparent.
The narration was ok too.
